Veneers in Dubai: Complete Guide & Pricing 2026

Veneers at Top Smile Dental Clinic in Dubai start from AED 499 per tooth for composite veneers and from AED 1,000 per tooth for E-Max porcelain veneers. Composite veneers are done in one visit and porcelain veneers in two visits about 7–14 days apart. With good care, porcelain veneers typically last 10–15 years or more and composite veneers 5–7 years. Treatment starts with a free cosmetic consultation and a digital smile preview at our Oud Metha or Dubai Silicon Oasis clinic.

Dental veneers are custom-made, wafer-thin shells of porcelain or composite resin permanently bonded to the front surface of teeth. They correct chips, stains, gaps, and minor misalignment in as few as two visits, with porcelain veneers lasting 10–15 years and composite veneers lasting 5–7 years.

Types of Veneers Available in Dubai

Veneers are thin, custom-made shells that are bonded to the front of your teeth to change their colour, shape, size or length. At Top Smile we offer three main types, and your dentist will recommend one after looking at your teeth, your bite and the result you want.

E-Max Porcelain Veneers (From AED 1,000/tooth)

E-Max is a lithium disilicate glass-ceramic, and it is the most popular porcelain used for veneers worldwide. It is strong, thin (often 0.3–0.7 mm) and lets light through like natural enamel, so the teeth look real rather than flat or “too white”. E-Max veneers are made in a dental laboratory from a digital scan of your teeth, which is why they need two visits.

According to the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), porcelain veneers can last 10–15 years with proper care, while composite veneers typically last 5–7 years.

  • Best for: a long-lasting, natural-looking result, stained teeth that whitening cannot fix, and full smile makeovers
  • Lifespan: typically 10–15 years or more with good care
  • Stain resistance: very high, so coffee, tea and smoking do not discolour them
  • Enamel removal: a thin layer, usually 0.3–0.7 mm, which is permanent

Composite Veneers (From AED 499/tooth)

Composite veneers are made from tooth-coloured resin that your dentist sculpts directly onto the tooth and hardens with a light, layer by layer. There is no laboratory step, so the whole treatment is finished in a single visit, usually with little or no drilling.

  • Best for: small chips, gaps and uneven edges, a lower budget, or patients who want a reversible option
  • Lifespan: typically 5–7 years, with polishing and touch-ups along the way
  • Stain resistance: moderate, so they can pick up stains from coffee and tea over time
  • Enamel removal: minimal or none

3D Veneers (Digitally Designed Veneers)

“3D veneers” is a name used in Dubai for veneers that are planned and made with digital technology. Your teeth are scanned in 3D, the new smile is designed on screen with digital smile design, and the veneers are milled or printed to match the plan. Most “3D veneers” are made from E-Max, zirconia or high-strength composite.

At Top Smile, every porcelain veneer case is planned digitally, so you see a preview of your new smile before any tooth is touched. The price depends on the material chosen, starting from the E-Max price above. If a clinic quotes you for “3D veneers”, ask which material is used, because that is what decides how long they last and how natural they look.

What about zirconia and removable veneers? Zirconia veneers are very strong and suit patients who grind their teeth or need to hide very dark teeth; they are priced like E-Max. Snap-on removable “veneers” are not a dental treatment. They can trap food and plaque, and we do not recommend them for everyday wear.

How Much Do Veneers Cost in Dubai? Full Price Breakdown

Veneers are priced per tooth, so the total depends on how many teeth are treated and which material you choose. Most patients treat between 4 and 10 upper teeth, the ones that show when you smile.

What can change the price

  • Preparatory treatment: fillings, gum treatment or a root canal must be done first if needed
  • Whitening: many patients whiten the lower teeth so they match the new veneers (Nano whitening from AED 899)
  • Gum contouring: to even out the gum line before veneers
  • Crowns: heavily filled or broken teeth may need a crown from AED 1,000 instead of a veneer

Your first consultation for veneers is free. You get a written, itemised quote before any treatment begins, and 0% interest payment plans are available on treatment over AED 3,000. Veneers are a cosmetic treatment, so they are usually not covered by insurance in the UAE.

Veneers vs Crowns vs Bonding: Which Is Right for You?

Veneers, crowns and bonding can all improve how a tooth looks, but they are not interchangeable. The right choice depends on how healthy the tooth is underneath.

The simple rule: if the tooth is strong and you want to change how it looks, a veneer is usually the better choice because it keeps more of your natural tooth. If the tooth is weak, cracked or has a large filling, a crown protects it better. Composite bonding is the quickest, most affordable fix for a single chip. Not sure which you need? What to Expect: The Veneer Procedure Step by Step

Here is what happens at Top Smile, from your first visit to your finished smile.

Porcelain (E-Max) veneers: about 7–14 days

  1. Consultation and smile design (day 1, about 45 minutes). We examine your teeth and gums, take X-rays and photographs, and talk about the look you want. We then create a digital smile preview so you can see the planned shape and shade.
  2. Trial smile (optional). A temporary “mock-up” can be placed over your teeth so you can see and feel the new smile in your own mouth before deciding.
  3. Preparation and scan (visit 1, about 1.5–2 hours). Under local anaesthetic, a thin layer of enamel is removed from the front of each tooth. Your teeth are scanned and you leave with natural-looking temporary veneers.
  4. Laboratory work (about 5–10 working days). A dental ceramist makes your veneers to the approved design and shade.
  5. Fitting (visit 2, about 1.5–2 hours). We check the fit and colour with you, then bond each veneer permanently and adjust your bite.
  6. Review (1–2 weeks later). A short check of your gums and bite. Many patients also get a night guard at this stage.

Composite veneers: one visit

  1. Consultation and shade selection. We agree the shape and colour with you.
  2. Bonding and sculpting (2–4 hours, depending on the number of teeth). The resin is applied, shaped and hardened tooth by tooth, usually without anaesthetic.
  3. Polishing. The veneers are polished to a natural shine and you leave with your new smile the same day.

Porcelain veneer preparation is done under local anaesthetic, so you feel pressure but not pain. Some patients notice mild sensitivity for a few days afterwards.

How Long Do Veneers Last?

With good care, E-Max porcelain veneers typically last 10–15 years and many last longer. Composite veneers usually last 5–7 years and may need polishing or small repairs before then. How long yours last depends mostly on your habits:

  • Brush twice a day with a soft brush and non-abrasive fluoride toothpaste, and clean between your teeth daily
  • Have a check-up and professional cleaning every 6 months
  • Wear a night guard if you grind or clench your teeth, because grinding is the most common reason veneers chip
  • Do not bite nails, pens, ice or bottle caps, and do not use your teeth to open packets
  • With composite veneers, limit coffee, tea, red wine and smoking, which can stain resin over time

Veneers do not get cavities, but the tooth underneath still can, especially at the edge where the veneer meets the gum. That is why regular check-ups matter. If a veneer chips or comes loose, keep the piece and call us; it can often be repaired or re-bonded.

Who Is a Good Candidate for Veneers?

Veneers are a good option if your teeth are healthy and you want to improve how they look. You may be a good candidate if you have:

  • Stained or discoloured teeth that do not respond to whitening, including tetracycline or root-canal staining
  • Chipped, worn or short teeth
  • Small gaps between your teeth
  • Teeth of uneven size or shape
  • Mildly crooked teeth, when you do not want orthodontic treatment

Veneers may not be right for you yet if you have:

  • Active tooth decay or gum disease, which must be treated first
  • Severe crowding or a bite problem, where braces or Invisalign give a better and more conservative result
  • Very heavy grinding without a night guard
  • Very little healthy enamel left, where a crown is safer

Porcelain veneers are a permanent decision because enamel is removed. If you are unsure, start with composite veneers or a trial smile, which can be adjusted or removed.

A Typical Veneers Patient Journey

Many of our veneer patients come in wanting a “brighter, more even” smile and are not sure what that means in practice. A typical journey looks like this:

  1. Week 0: free consultation, photos and digital smile preview. Most patients change their mind about shade at this stage, usually choosing something more natural than they first asked for.
  2. Week 1: whitening of the lower teeth (if needed) so the final shade can match.
  3. Week 2: preparation visit and temporary veneers.
  4. Week 3–4: final veneers fitted, and review two weeks later.

You can see real veneer and smile makeover cases treated at our clinics in our before and after gallery, and we will show you cases similar to yours at your consultation. Individual results vary.

Veneers in Dubai: Frequently Asked Questions

How much do veneers cost in Dubai?

At Top Smile Dental Clinic, composite veneers start from AED 499 per tooth and E-Max porcelain veneers from AED 1,000 per tooth. A full smile of 8 veneers starts from AED 3,992 in composite or AED 8,000 in E-Max. Prices are confirmed after a free consultation and examination.

Which veneers are best: porcelain or composite?

E-Max porcelain veneers look the most natural, resist staining and typically last 10–15 years or more, so they are the best long-term choice. Composite veneers cost about half as much, are done in one visit and need little or no enamel removal, so they suit smaller fixes or a lower budget.

How long do veneers last?

With good care, E-Max porcelain veneers typically last 10–15 years or more, and composite veneers 5–7 years. Wearing a night guard if you grind your teeth and having check-ups every 6 months help them last longer.

Do veneers ruin your natural teeth?

Porcelain veneers need a thin layer of enamel, usually 0.3–0.7 mm, to be removed, which is permanent, so you will always need a veneer on that tooth. Composite veneers need little or no preparation. Your dentist will tell you exactly how much preparation your plan needs before you agree to treatment.

Is getting veneers painful?

No. Tooth preparation for porcelain veneers is done under local anaesthetic, so you feel pressure but not pain. Composite veneers usually need no anaesthetic. Mild sensitivity for a few days afterwards is normal.

How many veneers do I need?

Most people choose between 4 and 10 upper veneers, depending on how many teeth show when they smile. For a full “Hollywood Smile”, 8 to 10 upper veneers are typical. Your dentist counts the teeth visible in your natural smile at the consultation.

Can I whiten veneers?

No. Veneers do not change colour with whitening. If you want a brighter shade, whiten your natural teeth first so the veneers can be matched to the new colour.

Are veneers covered by insurance in the UAE?

Usually not, because veneers are a cosmetic treatment. Some plans cover related work such as fillings or crowns on damaged teeth. We can check your policy, and 0% interest payment plans are available on treatment over AED 3,000.

How much do veneers cost in Dubai?

Dental veneers in Dubai cost AED 499–2,500 per tooth depending on the material. Composite veneers cost AED 499–800, porcelain veneers AED 1,000–1,800, and premium E-Max veneers AED 1,200–2,500. A full Hollywood Smile makeover (10–20 veneers) costs AED 8,000–40,000. Top Smile Dental Clinic offers composite veneers from AED 499 with same-day results.

How long do veneers last?

Veneer longevity depends on the material. Composite veneers last 5–7 years, porcelain veneers 10–15 years, and E-Max veneers 15–20 years with proper care. Longevity is maximised by avoiding biting hard objects, wearing a night guard if you grind your teeth, and maintaining regular dental check-ups every six months. The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) reports that porcelain veneers have a 93% survival rate at 15 years.
